Environmental Site Assessments

REG has knowledge and experience in all faucets of environmental site assessments, including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), initial site investigations, site characterization, and risk assessment. Phase I ESAs and initial site investigations are particularly useful during real estate transactions, and can help identify potential or existing environmental conditions at a property. These services typically include a review of historical records, a site reconnaissance, and interviews. In the event that environmental conditions are discovered during the Phase I ESA/initial site investigation, additional services, such as a Phase II ESA, site characterization, and risk assessment, can be performed. This additional services can be performed to assist in determine the sources of contamination, as well as to delineate the extent of contamination and assess the potential risk to human health and the environment.

In the event that contaminated media (soil, groundwater, vapor) is encountered, REG can assist in the development and implementation of a corrective action/remediation plan. REG will work with the property owner to provide the most effective, cost-efficient remedial solution to each unique circumstance. Whether remedial efforts consist of on-site treatment or off-site disposal, REG will ensure that all remedial efforts are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
